A couple women friends both messaged me at exactly the right time, when I was starting to feel really down, and they made me feel so much better. I was really happy because in both conversations, we discovered some highly specific things we have in common, and they're things that I usually feel alone about. I always forget that people won't know who I really am unless I actually share things. Note to self.
I decided to rearrange my space to change the flow of energy because I was starting to feel like I was stagnating in the same environment every day. This was a good idea! I finally put my plants up on makeshift stands so the cat will stop eating them, and now it's like a mini forest at eye level in front of the windows for some privacy and to soften my concrete jungle view into something more natural. Success! Sometimes it only takes a small change to break a mental rut.
