Yesterday I arrived home from Canada to find an invitation from a curator friend to be a featured artist in an erotic art show. This could be fun!
Im also considering moonlighting in a non-sleazy sex-positive sex shop, to liberate character and avoid becoming a drone. It wouldnt be dull, Id get to sample the products, and spread happiness to others. And imagine my inlaws reaction when I tell them I work in a sex shop! Ill be allHappy Russian New Year! Hitachi Magic Wands for everyone!
Some want to be accountants when they grow upAnd then theres me.
Im currently inspired by a book I found in Canada, called, "Street Renegades: New Underground Art," by Francesca Gavin. Especially this excerpt by Dan Witz:
Street art wants people to be awake. I dont really believe that anymore. I know when artists put things up they want to keep themselves awake. Thats really all I can do.
As noble a reason as any.
