I'm confident enough at baking now that I can invent original recipes with a high success rate. I'm actually excited about my next idea, which isn't the most unique one I've imagined so far, but definitely on theme for thanksgiving. I'm going to make pumpkin pie donuts, using egg nog in place of my usual sour cream, and of course pumpkin puree. I also have pink food coloring I want to use for something... maybe pink rosewater amaretti cookies or something...
I tidied and improved the gallery wall in my bathroom and it looks so good now.
I've been doing guided meditations every night following the moon phases, so that's kind of fun.
I did yoga two days in a row and am going to try to keep momentum going since I found a new yin yoga video I really like, and finally set up a tv to make it more like a class. I'm even going to buy a yoga block, something I used to think was so stupid, but now I can see some stretches where that would feel really good on my back to prop my butt up, and my pillows aren't cutting it, and my ex can get me fitness related things for free through his work, so I'm excited. I also want a yoga wheel to stretch my back on, or a foam roller. I'm going to get a low tech foot roller to massage my feet just because. I like to have little things around that bring comfort or physical pleasure for when moods arise. Like my head scratcher, and the rosewater mist I made to spritz my face at random times to feel refreshed, and my handmade herbal lotion, and incense and perfumes and candles... They calm me and kind of bring me back into the present moment whenever my mind starts going into a negative spiral.
