Before he left for work he said he felt like he wanted to cry and his stomach hurt. If he had a choice, he wouldn't need to work in the middle of an omicron surge. He didn't get his booster yet so I gave him an N95 mask and one of my bandanas. Probably won't see him again until the surge ends, since rapid tests aren't as accurate with omicron.
Friends are getting sick but they're all fully boosted so they'll be ok. I'm not, so I'm scared to even go into the hall to take out my trash. My etsy package downstairs will just have to wait. I could ask a neighbor to bring it up but I don't feel like bothering anyone right now, even my doctor. I'm sure she's very busy and exhausted, and I don't mind waiting out the surge. It's the dead of winter anyway. It's not like I'll be going to any NYE parties. The only one that wasn't canceled (yet) is the one my idiot anti-masker friend is performing at, and obviously she can't be trusted with my life (or even her own.) I'd rather stay warm and healthy and braless in my home that I've made into a personal utopia filled with hobbies, and a mini petting zoo of sorts.
Interestingly, no chronic pain yet this month, so I must be doing something right. I have been eating a lot and often, receiving love, sleeping a lot, using cannabis ghee at least once a day, laughing at life, and keeping my mind and body moderately active.
My neighbor is photographing the view from his window on the 14th floor. The sun is out today after weeks of rain. There was a nice rainbow over the city a few days ago.
I dreamed I went to my old dance class but it was indoors and no one was wearing masks so I left. My childhood dog also made a cameo appearance. I love when she finds me in dreams. She was old but looked well.
I was gifted a trampoline, a high quality super bouncy one! It hasn't arrived yet but I'm excited for a fun new toy that will also prevent osteoporosis and keep my spirits up. Can't wait.
If I had it my way, my entire apartment would be a circus gym. I'd have a mini trapeze and aerial silks to play on, and the floors would all be trampolines or foam so I could somersault all over the place. There'd also be a balance beam and parallel bars. And a swing! And I'd roller skate around the perimeter of the room. I'd squeeze in an archery range and a lazy river to float around in too. Damn imma need a bigger apartment...
