So I just did the math, and...
The same year Putin started bullying Ukraine (8 years ago) directly coincides with his divorce, and the death of his dog who he was apparently very close with.
Looks like Putin had a broken heart and needed to prove his manhood so he started taking it out on Ukraine.
After his wife remarried a year later, he starts referring to Ukraine as "inseparable" from Russia and that they 'belong together.'
He's literally personifying Ukraine as a wife that he's trying to get back. He sees it as a broken marriage.
I mean.... Do you see what I'm seeing? Has anyone else noticed this fairly obvious chain of events and his sudden need to flex his muscles to soothe his injured ego?
He went from having a very amicable relationship with European leaders and even displaying signs of empathy, to being a very angry little man just a couple months after losing his wife and dog that same Spring, and suddenly gets into all kinds of conflicts and projects his broken marriage onto Ukraine.
Perhaps his ex-wife's new husband has some connection to Ukraine? Or he's just psychologically blurring Ukraine with his ex wife.
He never remarried.
