1. Grateful for time that heals wounds. I am now in the scab phase.
2. So utterly grateful that I'm able to stay home as much as I want. I've come to really enjoy it. I've perfected the art of creating my own routines and staying healthy. It reduces a lot of stress I might otherwise be having. I value my time above all, and I'm rich in time, so I feel very fortunate in that way, to not need to battle my natural neanderthal inclination to live in a nice cave and paint the walls and just BE. The way we're meant to. :)
3. Grateful for the practice of Ho’oponopono, the indigenous values of remorse, forgiveness, gratitude and love. Being a recipient of rudeness is just a fact of life since pandemic started, but I'm sort of getting used to it. I've developed coping strategies, one of which is meditating on Ho'oponopono. The mantra goes: "I'm sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you, I love you." As long as it's genuine, it helps me move on faster. It's less for the offender and more for my own self forgiveness, since I have zero control of what anyone else does. But I can control my own behavior, and can rebalance myself quickly this way, and give myself the closure I need. At first I thought the concept was stupid (for some scenarios), but I understand now, and I feel better when I do it. It's miraculously helpful.
