The sun reverses poles every 11 years, a process happening right now, resulting in increased solar storms. Solar flares occur concurrently with volcanic and seismic activity. Fire underground, and fire in the sky, are connected.
I laid under the sun on my roof and thought about how I'm charging my body under a star, so close I can feel Her on my skin. I had an intimate 30 minutes marveling at Her blinding brightness directly above me. We ought to worship this life-giving light, without which nothing could live.
In those moments I ceased noticing the insufferable city noises, traffic, roaring motorcycle engines, helicopters. Just me blissfully warm beneath a star.
Life is big and mysterious and stupid and funny and awful and good. Like light, it is an infinite spectrum.
And life goes on. And changes, and changes again. I'm grateful for life.
And I don't know if anyone has noticed, but there is literally a giant magnificent STAR lighting up our lives every day, right the fuck outside our windows. We are star-powered, and made of stardust, and sunbathing under a star, growing plants under a star. And no one knows why. I love that!
