Anyone else almost never bother correcting wrong assumptions made about them?
People are wrong so often that if I corrected them every time, I'd waste ALL my time explaining things and tiptoeing around their egos that want so badly to be right. If their intuition is off, I don't feel the need to set the record straight. It would take up too much of my limited energy. Why be defensive? Let 'em project their warped thoughts. Let 'em argue with themselves.
Nothing happened, I'm just remembering how often I've experienced that with certain personalities. People who have known me a very very long time tend to have a better grasp of my character and don't need to make assumptions to fill the gaps in their knowledge. I guess that's all assumptions are: Making up shit when you lack knowledge.
Today I drank 4 cups of iced coffee and made a lampshade out of a spaghetti strainer. What did you do? Lol.
I also continued to organize my music playlists. And cuddled my pets. And napped after the third coffee?! I seriously need to see a doctor about my suspected narcolepsy when covid ends, since I've confirmed it's not anemia or depression. At least I don't have insomnia?
