A couple days ago we hiked around a lake in the forest. M set up two hammocks next to each other to gaze at the sky after a game of badminton.
We like taking badminton overly competitively, as a joke, hitting the birdie with all our strength as if it's the olympic games. Sometimes I pretend to break the racket in half over my leg when I miss a birdie that M hit intentionally sideways. Or I'll say 'badminton is such a friendly cooperative sport!' and he'll go "that's what YOU think! I'm going to kick your ass!!!" before whacking the birdie into the ground. It's a whole comedy routine we do.
Yesterday we played at the city park in a grassy meadow between blackberry bushes and tall trees. I love seeing so many people out doing wholesome things at the park on sunny days, riding their bikes, playing frisbee with their dogs, having birthday parties, tourists photographing flowers. It puts me in a good mood to see everyone in such a good mood.
